About
Andy joined the Group in April 2018 as an Investment Manager in the SME Loans Team. He is based at our Preston office and will be supporting growing SMEs across the North West and North Wales. His particular focus will be on debt capital, covering most sectors across the region.
Previous experience
Andy spent over 30 years working at RBS, with the latter two years as business development director of commercial banking covering the Merseyside region. As an experienced banker, Andy understands the challenges that businesses face when it comes to funding. Prior to his business development role, Andy worked in a specialist banking team supporting businesses through the tough economic climate. More recently, Andy was regional manager for RateSetter Business Finance. His role involved developing a quality introducer network and supporting SMEs’ growth plans along with MBOs.
